FIRE crews from several stations attended an upturned lorry in Beamhurst.

One crew from Longton and the rescue tender from Longton attended an incident on the A522, Uttoxeter Road, Beamhurst, at 6.47am this morning.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters made safe an articulated vehicle that was on its side before returning to their stations at 7.01am.”

The news comes soon after a biscuit lorry upturned and shed its load of biscuits across the A50 at the beginning of last month.
