A WORKSHOP to help raise money for research into cancer has reached its target.

Kimberley-Rose Woodhall, of Stramshall, has raised £250 for Pancreatic Cancer UK through a special one-off workshop based around dance, drama, crafts and singing after being inspired by ‘no make-up selfies’ on Facebook.

She held the workshop at the Big Top Fun Centre.

The 21-year-old said: “I am over overwhelmed with the support I have received around the event with the generous amount of donations from people.

“The event itself was a huge success and was as fun filled and exciting as expected.”

The instructor decided to raise money for the charity after she lost her uncle to the disease when he was only 49.
