WORK to expand JCB to create more space for the workers is now officially under way.
Builders can be seen hard at work at the Rocester-based World Headquarters as construction gets under way to create additional office space for the workers.
The workmen have been at the site for around a month now and the digger giant has said it is hoped that the work will be completed by autumn.
The principal contractor for the work is Vinci Construction UK and the project involves the erection of around 80 tonnes of steel.
A spokesman for JCB said the new offices will provide 800 square metres of additional space.
Currently there is up to 40 people on site each day working on the scheme.
