ONE of Uttoxeter’s favourite live bands — who have performed to great acclaim across the country — will be in Doveridge this weekend.
Hometown boys Radio Mary perform a unique blend of folk-blues edged, foot-tapping music inspired by a host of influences but the band are clear they have their own sound.
Anyone going to a Radio Mary gig will enjoy a mix of their latest songs and some familiar versions of songs from some of their own favourite artists with a few twists to keep the audience on their toes.
The band have become staples of the Acoustic Festival of Great Britain at Uttoxeter Racecourse and have also become regular performers at the major events in the racing calendar and performed at this year’s Grand National day at Aintree.
