SCOTTISH legends The Proclaimers have been confirmed as the first headliners for next year’s Acoustic Festival of Great Britain, in Uttoxeter.
The twins, best known for their international smash hit I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), will headline the Friday night of the three-day festival at Uttoxeter Racecourse.
The duo are the confirmed headliners for the festival, with negotiations still ongoing with The Hollies to fill one of the other headline slots.
Other newly confirmed acts for the festival, which takes place between May 31 and June 2, 2013, include comedian, impressionist and musician Phil Cool, The Quireboys and former Bay City Roller Eric Faulkner.
Also new for 2013 will be a comedy, magic and burlesque tent. More information is available at www.acousticfestival.co.uk.
