Villagers' views being sought on library vans

DERBYSHIRE Dales residents still have three weeks to give their views on the future of Derbyshire County Council's mobile library service.

The council has to cut £157 million in the next four years and is looking at making changes to services across the council.

Its mobile fleet has of two large vehicles and eight smaller mobile libraries, costing the authority £720,000 per year.

The consultation is online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/mobilelibraries.
