Village show is set be back with a bang

A VILLAGE show is set to be bigger and better than ever.

Denstone Show will be held from 2pm to 5.30pm on Saturday, August 30 with a vintage car show at Denstone Hall Farm Shop, a street market outside The Tavern pub and Family Olympics.

Classes this year will include prize winning vegetables and fruit to baking, artisan bread and flower arranging. There will also be children's classes from models made from recycled materials to best selfie.

New for 2014 is the Family Olympics with three legged races, sack race and backward running. Other attractions include willow weaving, Uttoxeter Youth Brass Band, music by Nick Worrall, Birds of Prey, Rent a Beast, barbecue, Woodturning and the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
