A UTTOXETER nursery has celebrated a milestone anniversary with a tea party in the sunshine.
Midway Academy, in Bramshall Road, opened its dedicated baby room a decade ago and has thanked all the parents who have used the facility during that time.
To celebrate the date, staff and children had a tea party with lots of birthday cake and they released a balloon for each baby with prizes for the children whose balloon travels the furthest.
A spokesman for the nursery said: “It’s been an exciting and busy 10 years and we can’t believe that our first babies are celebrating birthdays with double figures this year.
“We are still in contact with many of them and have seen countless siblings come through our doors since.
“We pride ourselves on being like a home away from home for our children and love to hear how our children have been getting on since progressing on to school.”
