A UTTOXETER garage and car dealership has raised money and awareness for a children’s hospice charity with a special Easter competition.
Angus MacKinnon, in Derby Road, ran a ‘guess how many balloons are in the car’ competition for 30 pupils from St Mary’s First School in aid of the Donna Louise Trust.
The dealership donated £100 of Easter eggs to the trust as part of the initiative.
Angus MacKinnon sales and marketing co-ordinator Matthew Udale said: “We were only too happy to run this competition for local school children.
“As part of the competition, they got to learn about the amazing work the Donna Louise Trust does.
“And it’s given everyone here a real boost to know we’re doing our bit to help by donating the Easter eggs to the trust.”
McKenzie Groom won the competition, getting closer to predicting the correct number of balloons in the car, 67, with his guess of 55.
