A LITTLE boy bravely batting spina bifida has been nominated for an award in the Advertiser's sister paper.
Leo Keates, two, could win the Staffordshire Newsletter's Child of Courage Award.
Mum Faye Leason was interviewed about Leo's determination to fight his illness for a story in today's Advertiser.
Spina bifida sees babies born with a gap in their spine and, although surgery can repair the gap, nerve damage often leaves sufferers partially paralysed.
This leaves Leo needing a walking frame to support him.
Anyone who wants to vote for Leo can do so online at www.staffordshirenewsletter.co.uk.
