UTTOXETER Town manager Mark Grimley reckons no team in the Staffordshire Senior League can live with his side when they produce their best – but is wary of a Kidsgrove Athletic side who will be out for revenge.
Town travel to Kidsgrove tomorrow, kick-off 2.30pm, with a full strength squad and will be hoping for a repeat of the 6-0 demolition they inflicted on Saturday’s hosts back in August,
Grimley said: “I am pretty sure they will be after revenge after we beat them at home very early on in the season.
“We will go there full of confidence looking to pick up all three points.
“I remember them to be a team who try and play, so it should be a decent spectacle.
“At our best, in my opinion, there is no better team in this league.
“No-one can live with us when we start fizzing it about, so if we can produce our best I expect us to come away with three points.
“We will need to be at our best though, as Kidsgrove have had some decent results at home.”
Town top the Premier Division by six points from Wolstanton United, who enjoy four games in hand on the league leaders and are at Hanley Town Reserves tomorrow.
Ball Haye Green’s title hopes were dented on Tuesday evening after AFC Leek’s Kyle Kelsall cancelled out Tom Lowe’s strike in a 1-1 draw.
Green, who have not won in four games, are now 10 points behind Town with only two game in hand.
