ASPIRING actors and actresses from a Uttoxeter high school are urging locals to come along and support them in their forthcoming production.

The Alleyne’s Fringe Group from Thomas Alleyne’s High School, who have secured a string of dates at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with The Space, will be performing at the Rising Brook Baptist Church in Stafford at 7pm on April 11 and April 12 and at the Burton Brewhouse Theatre at 7pm on April 16 and April 17.

Tickets will cost £7 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Joe Mathews, project manager of the group said: “The show promises to be fantastic thanks to all the hard work of the young cast involved and the support of yourselves who have made our project possible.

“The local performances are a landmark in the groups quest to produce a magnificent show to take to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014- a venue for which we now have confirmed with The Space UK.

“All that lies ahead are exciting prospects for the group and I would like to thank everyone on behalf of the team for your input in the project and giving us this opportunity to do what we are most passionate about, acting on one of the world’s biggest stages and at such a young age.

“The experience that the group will benefit from is simply invaluable, as is your support.

“I hope to see you at one of our local performances for what will be an enthralling night of theatre.”
