AMIDST the fun, there were points at stake as Trent Raceways hosted a funday meeting last weekend.
In the super saloons, local riders Terry Wood and Luke Durose finished third and fifth in their heat, but neither scored any points in the final.
Lexie Genders and Josh wells contested the novice A class, with Wells experiencing his first roll and Genders finishing sixth in her heat before a fifth in the final.
In the final novice B class, Katie Thacker, Sam Barker, Livi Wells and Jacob White competed but only White finished, claiming fifth.
The front wheel drive race saw Durose qualify in first place, Lee Walker second.
In the final, Durose was fifth and Walker retired.
The rear wheel drive saw Rob Walker, Lance Wells and Charlie Thacker finish first, third and fifth respectively in their heats before coming third, second and sixth in the final.
The superstox class saw Abbotts Bromley’s Rob Fowell and John White, and Marchington’s Sarah Hoskins finish third, fourth and fifth, before coming second, fourth and fifth in the final.
The next race is on June 22.
