A UTTOXETER sixth form pupil has worked with members of a mental health support charity to illustrate the working of the human mind.

Molly Merrison, a pupil at Thomas Alleyne’s High School, thought up and explored Cogs of the Working Mind in a collaboration with members of the Art and Soul Friendship Group.

The inspired art work is in reference to the working cogs of the human mind displaying the connections between members as well as their individuality.

A spokesman said: “Whilst symptoms of mental illness can be very individual, they can also have overlapping similarities.

“This art work exhibits the cogs working in conjunction with one another as is the case with member’s using the project to support one another. Art and Soul encourages inclusion whatever your diagnoses.”

The art work can be found in reception of the Art and Soul building, in the Market Place.
