A FARM and craft centre attraction near Uttoxeter is up for sale at £1.5 million.
Amerton Farm and Craft Centre is a 20-acre site based at Stowe-by-Chartley, will be sold subject to the tenancy agreements currently in place, but otherwise with vacant possession.
The attraction includes a tea room, farm shop, craft shop and indoor play barn.
A number of units are let, including the garden centre, bakery, sweet shop, cake shop, pottery centre, blacksmiths, wildlife rescue centre and poultry shop, which generate an annual rental and concession income in excess of £90,000 per annum.
Ian Simpson, director of leisure and trading at Savills, said: “Amerton Farm and Craft Centre is a popular countryside visitor centre and retail business in Stafford that attracts over 400,000 people each year.
“This is a unique opportunity to purchase a diverse leisure asset on a large site, which provides a secure income stream to support the continued operation and development of the site.
“We therefore expect to see a high level of interest.”
The farm is a popular family leisure destination and includes a bakery, a playbarn, a toy shop, a farmyard, a tea room, a pottery outlet and a nursery.
Also on site are the Amerton railway, a cake and sweet shop, wildlife facilities and an animal rescue centre.
The farm has in the past offered a series of seasonal events at Christmas including a Santas Grotto.
