POLICE are appealing for information about a bag that went missing at Uttoxeter Racecourse.

Sometime between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday, October 6 the blue coloured cotton material bag went missing.

It has two zip fastened compartments - one on the top and one to the front and is about eight inches long and three inches wide.

It contained a number of personal items including a black zip fastened wallet, a 2013 diary, a sliver coloured metal card case and two betting slips: one for ‘Betfred’ and the other for ‘Mark Jarvis’.

The ‘Mark Jarvis’ betting slip, a winning bet in relation to a football match, was cashed on October 8 at the branch at 46 Wood St, Earl Shilton, Leicester.

The CCTV still shows the offender cashing this slip.

Anyone who has any information is asked to ring 101 quoting incident 673 of 8 October 2013 or to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111.
