Police appeal after car was damaged in Rocester

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged in a village near Uttoxeter.

Officers from East Staffordshire Local Policing Team (LPT) issued the appeal after the windows of a green Peugeot 206 were smashed at around 8pm on Thursday, February 6 in Millbank Drive, Rocester.

Officers said the offender caused damage to both of the windscreens and the two drivers side windows.

However, nothing was stolen during the incident.

The offender is described as a man wearing a grey hooded top and a black jacket.

He was last seen running into Mill Street.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, is asked to contact PC Richard Barnhouse at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 652 of February 6. Alternatively, they can call independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
