A TERMINALLY-ILL man is appealing to Uttoxeter residents to help him find his father who once lived and worked in Uttoxeter.
James Parsons-Moore, 38, is hunting for people in Uttoxeter who may know his father Roy Parsons, who he hasn’t been in contact with since he was a child.
Mr Parsons-Moore knows his father owned a business in Uttoxeter and lived there 20 years ago but does not know where he lives today.
Now he wants to make contact with him and is urgently appealing for anyone who knows Roy to put him in touch.
Chris Parsons-Moore, 29, partner of James, said: “My partner suffers from a terminal disease and he is desperately trying to find his father Roy Parsons who he hasn’t been in contact with since he was a child due to his parents being separated.
“There are a few things we know for certain about Roy, and one is that he owned a business in Uttoxeter and a number of properties.
“We have an address for him in Balance Street which we believe is where he may have lived during his time in Uttoxeter.
“We aren’t sure if he still lives in town, in fact we think he may have moved to America, but our biggest hope is to find someone who knows him in Uttoxeter who could put us in touch.
“My partner James last saw Roy 20 years ago when he was just 18.
“We know Roy has been in contact with James’ grandfather since then as he wanted to get in contact with the kids.
“However his grandfather, who has since passed away, did not pass on James’ contact details.
“James really wants to find his father to get some kind of closure on what happened in the past.
“We’ve looked on the internet and haven’t been successful so far.
“We want to find someone who knows him to put us in touch.
“Roy always lived in the Staffordshire area, and when he separated with James’ mother, he moved back to the area.
“His partner’s name is Peggy, we know that, and we know he lived in one big house and owned another property.
“If anyone can help us, please get in touch.”
