TRUCKS could be proudly seen making their way to the town racecourse as a key event in Uttoxeter’s calendar returned.
The Peak Truck Show saw more than 220 trucks descend on Uttoxeter Racecourse at the weekend for the two-day event as they competed in different categories.
As well as the trucks, the event also included trial bike displays in the centre course.
Dan Whitehead, racecourse events manager, said the event was once again very successful with visitors and exhibitors.
He told the Post and Times: “Even though the weather was not kind to us on the Saturday, we still had a great atmosphere.
“On the Sunday when the sun came out we had a fantastic day and the public was ready and waiting to come through the gates.
“They come back to us every year and they are looking to come back again next year.
“It is a truck show but we have trial bike displays in the centre course.”
The Peak Truck Show has been held at the Wood Lane course for more than 10 years.
