Zazz Projects Ltd, based in Uttoxeter, who recently opened an overseas office to help serve its global clients base, has recently benefitted from the Business Development Programme initiative, helping it to protect a number of jobs as a result of the funding.
The Business Development Programme is an £8 million business support programme aimed at helping more than 400 businesses across the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP area.

Zazz Projects Ltd managing director, Mark Braddock, said: “The receipt of the grant monies from the BDP has been particularly useful to our business, allowing us to move to a larger office and provide much needed space for the business to plan its next stage of growth.
“We found the application process really straight forward and I would encourage other eligible businesses to apply.”
The programme operates across the whole of the LEP area, meaning any firms in the East Staffordshire local authority will be able to apply.
Leader of East Staffordshire Borough Council, Richard Grosvenor, said: “This is great news for East Staffordshire businesses and employment.
“It is fantastic to see how they are benefiting from being part of the LEP.
“To complement this regional initiative, East Staffordshire Borough Council has recently launched its own business development fund and we hope that this will continue to help businesses in the region to go from strength to strength.”
Grants cover 45% of the costs of an eligible project, subject to satisfying a number of criteria and gaining approval.
As well as the financial assistance scheme, the Business Development Programme also offers an intensive coaching and mentoring scheme for businesses, aimed at ambitious business owners and directors, to improve personal performance and business growth.
