A VILLAGE pub near Uttoxeter has been told to make improvements in its hygiene following an inspection from health inspectors.
The Cross Keys Inn, in Cheadle Road, Upper Tean, was given a rating of only one out of a possible five as part of the rate my place scheme.
Inspectors from Staffordshire Moorlands District Council had numerous concerns, particularly surrounding food preparation, and ordered the pub to make improvements.
