Wristbands are in stock
SPECIAL wristbands produced in memory of a beloved Uttoxeter woman who died last year are back in stock in our offices.
The pink wristbands in memory of Lisa Oldham were designed as part of her family’s ongoing fund-raising efforts as family members and friends aim to tackle the three highest peaks in Britain in June.
The wristbands have proved incredibly popular and are now back in stock in our Uttoxeter office in The Maltings.
Acts are still needed for 2013’s Denstone Factor
A POPULAR village talent show is making a welcome return next month.
Denstone’s answer to the X Factor returns to The JCB Lakeside Club, in Rocester, on Saturday, February 23.
The format will remain the same – a showcase for amateur performers to share their talents, with a panel of ‘expert’ judges to pass comments on the proceedings.
This year proceeds will go to Rakemark Respite - a East Staffordshire charity working with families of special needs children.
Trophies are awarded to the winners but the real appeal of this event is that it is not competitive and focuses on providing a venue for performers to showcase their talents.
Anyone interested in taking part are asked to phone 07807 547815 to request an application form. All aspects of performing arts are welcomed.
