“I will ensure that our students are happy, successful and achieve high academic standards.’
The forthcoming Open Evening at 7pm on October 16 will be a chance for prospective parents and their children to meet the new head teacher and to hear his vision for the school.
Mr Slack added: “As a father and grandfather myself, I understand that this is an important time for parents as they look forward to their children beginning the next phase in their school life. “Undoubtedly, the best way to discover more is to come along to the open evening, see the variety of opportunities on offer and meet students and staff.

“I am absolutely thrilled and am relishing the challenges ahead.”
