A POPULAR Uttoxeter coffee house celebrated it’s fifth birthday with a thrilling twist.
Indulgence Coffee Lounge, in Market Place put on a Murder Mystery evening on August 17 which coincided with the cafe’s fifth birthday.
Guests were treated to an evening of drama and suspense at the Speakeasy Murder Mystery evening, which was set in 1920s Chicago, along with a buffet, champagne and canapés.
David Hunter, co-owner of Indulgence said: “What fantastic fun we had at the Speakeasy Murder Mystery Saturday night.
“Who would have believed Sam was the murderer again.
“Congratulations to David and Anita who won the best dressed characters.
“Everyone at Indulgence would like to say a massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who helped us celebrate the big milestone of five years.
“The day was lovely and busy, with customers giving us cards whilst enjoying live music, thanks to Sue, Pete, Chris and Colette.
“Thank you to everyone who attended the murder mystery and made it the evening it was.”
The next event at Indulgence Lounge will be the Moroccan evening on Friday, August 30, following the string of themed evenings that have been put on celebrating international cuisines from all over the world.
The evening will cost £12.25 per head and a selection of nine tempting dishes will be on offer to guests of which three can be chosen.
