FIRMS looking to submit entries for this year’s Burton Mail Business Awards only have a few days left.
The celebration of entrepreneurship in the area will be held in October and nomination forms need to be in by September 7.
Winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony taking place at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium on October 25.
Categories in this year’s awards include employer of the year, small business of the year and business of the year.
Barclays, Boots, Toyota, JCB and Molson Coors have all signed up as sponsors and are joined by a catalogue of other established brands representing the best of Burton and South Derbyshire’s businesses.
The event is also supported by East Staffordshire Borough Council and South Derbyshire District Council for another year.
Awards director Dave Bryon said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to enter and recognise either themselves or their employees, as there are awards for employee of the year and young employee of the year. Entry is free and in previous years the awards have been an excellent opportunity for businesses to promote themselves and their achievements across the region.”
