AN ANONYMOUS Uttoxeter couple have dug deep to throw £5,000 of their own cash behind Kyreigh's Kause.
Kyreigh O-Regan, five, has cerebral palsy and needs a £65,000 operation in the US to remove faulty nerves from his spine.
The couple have released a statement pledging their support for Kyreigh and his mum, Sasha O'Regan.
The statement reads: "Having heard of little Kyreigh's desperate need of an operation to relieve his constant pain and give him the opportunity to walk unaided, and then finding that his young mother, Sasha, is not only bringing up two young children but is desperately trying to raise the funds for the operation, we were compelled to help this most deserving family.
"We hope by us making a significant donation it may encourage others to donate directly through the justgiving website.
"Whether large or small, business or individual, children or adult, every donation will make an enormous difference to this lovely little boy's young life.
"We have now met the family and will remain involved in Kyreigh's Kause offering support."
Miss O'Regan has extended her thanks to the couple.
She said: "I have now met the couple as it was important to me that with such generosity they could meet Kyreigh and I wanted him to appreciate the contribution.
"They are a lovely couple who I feel honoured to have met and I very much look forward to working with them and taking there very much appreciate advice.
"I hope to maintain contact with them for as long as possible so they can see the difference there help has made to not only Kyreigh's but our family's life.
"Kyreigh was very taken with them and gave them both a huge hug.
"He is looking forward to seeing them again."
