Love is in the air at Uttoxeter school

UTTOXETER pupils have been feeling the love as they turn their latest business venture in to marking the most romantic day of the year.

Pupils involved in Thomas Alleyne’s High School’s Young Enterprise team were in full production mode while creating and producing high quality Valentine’s Day cards and gifts to enabled pupils to show how they feel for their loved ones.

The team – Nostalgia – is putting its own twist on shabby chic and retro items.

They have already featured their unique goods to shoppers at Uttoxeter’s Cracker Night, in December.

A spokesman for the Dove Bank school said: “With manufacturing in full swing this is your opportunity to grab yourself a truly irreplaceable and one off present for your loved one.

“Hand crafted cards are retailing from £2.50, handmade heart pin cushions are selling from £4.95 and wooden ornaments depicting your love are being sold for £3.50.

“To purchase your unique and hand made goods please contact year 12 student Oliver Marriott or the Business Studies department.”
