THANK you once again for the much needed help you give us.
This enabled us to deliver some 79 Christmas food parcels last year, as opposed to 33 in 2010, this is in addition to our normal emergency food parcel deliveries, plus helping Santa with the delivery of some 200 presents for the children.
We also collected some 500+ coats (plus hats, scarves and gloves etc) some 200 of which have already been delivered to homeless people, the elderly, and children in need of warmth.
The people in the area have been truly wonderful in their giving.
At the Uttoxeter charity shop we have had a donate a tin campaign and again the people of Uttoxeter have been wonderful.
As the saying goes ‘The Salvation Army is not just for Christmas, but to bring warmth to those in need all year’.
