I HAVE a Jack Russell dog called Molly.
On Friday, July 20, she must have been spooked by something as she ran off straight onto the A515 near to Roston Common.
I hadn’t realised she had gone until a man brought her back to me.
Sshe was shaking from head to toe.
He told me that she had run straight onto the main road and under a lorry.
He stopped his car and she ran straight to him.
Had he not stopped, she would have most certainly been killed.
I was in such shock that I didn’t ask his name, how he knew she was mine, or even thank him properly.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you so very much for bringing her back to me as she means the world to my wife and I. We are very grateful.
Derek Bullock, Roston
