FANS of the timeless classic hits of Liverpool's best known rock band will love the musical tribute to them showing at a Hanley theatre this week.
Following its hugely successful run in London’s West End, the hit Beatles show Let It Be will visit The Regent Theatre from today until Saturday.
Let It Be showcases the music of the world’s most successful rock’n’roll band, in a spectacular theatrical concert charting the band’s meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces.
It is the first time that the Grand Theatrical Rights to The Beatles’ hits have been granted by Sony/ATV for a theatre production, and the show takes fans on a journey through the back catalogue of their well-known material for a sing-along, thoroughly entertaining performance.
Packed with over forty of The Beatles’ greatest hits including: I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields and When I'm 64, to name just a few, the show is a non-stop foray into the incredible musical career of the talented foursome.
Let It Be has delighted audiences around the world, including New York, Germany and Monaco, with upcoming dates in Japan and Moscow.
The UK tour is produced by Jamie Hendry Productions and Annerin Productions.
