Unwed Grant backs gay marriage
Hollywood star Hugh Grant has spoken out in favour of gay marriage - but admitted that he is not one for tying the knot.
The 52-year-old Love Actually star, whose previous girlfriends include actress Elizabeth Hurley and socialite Jemima Khan, joked that his own love life showed that he was not a fan of marriage.
But in a video message he said: "I'm not a massive believer in marriage, I think my own biography is testament to that. But I do think that love is the same for everyone."
The Four Weddings And A Funeral star, who became a father for the first time last year after a Chinese actress gave birth to a girl following a "fleeting affair", added: "I do think that everyone should have the same rights. If you want to get married, whether you're gay, straight, transgender (or) whatever, you should definitely be allowed to do that."
Entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson and pop stars The Saturdays and Paloma Faith have previously filmed messages for the Out4Marriage campaign for equal marriage rights for gay couples.
