FAMILIES were out in force to enjoy a good old fashioned street market in a village near Uttoxeter.
Organisers said the street market in Denstone was great fun for families in the village and all of the money raised at the event was donated to the church.
Attractions included children from the local primary school doing a street dance for those attending the event and there were also stalls located in the churchyard.
Sue Robins, one of the organisers, said: “Unfortunately, the weather didn’t hold up all day however some stalls were moved into the church and the day continued without much delay.
“Children decorated Daisy the Cows which were presented in the church and enjoyed by visitors.
“The day proved very successful as a total of £1,604 was made and donated to the church.”
