CCTV images of burglary suspect released

POLICE are seeking a man they suspect may have information about two burglaries in Uttoxeter.

One of the offences took place between midnight and 2.30am on Monday, April 14.

An offender, or offenders, forced entry to a house in Demontfort Way and stole items include two Bosh drills, cash, two Raleigh mountain bikes, one of which was black and purple and the other of which was orange, a Macbook Pro, a Lenovo Netbook, clothing, a Samsung mobile phone and a black iPad.

The other burglary was carried out at a home in Blounts Drive between 9am on Sunday, April 13, and 5am on Monday, April 14.

A burglar, or burglars, broke into a garage and stole a 'pearly white and blue' Marin Qualle mountain bike worth £1,300.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "Anyone with information, or who knows the man captured on CCTV, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 52 of April 14.

"Alternatively, they can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
