Evolution into training and coaching for Dove

Written byBy James Brindle

COMPANIES from across Staffordshire are set to benefit from a new service designed to create business growth and job creation which is being launched in Uttoxeter.

Several new businesses, ranging from web designers to surveyors, have signed up for a new business growth club in Uttoxeter.

A diverse range of business experts will mentor members at the club during a 12 month period.

It is being run by Dove Accountants and Business Advisors at their offices in Church Street, Uttoxeter.

Business partners Mark Wordley and Chris Pettitt recently moved to the town centre location and rebranded their business with the aim of offering training and mentoring to growing Staffordshire businesses.

Qualified accountants, Mr Wordley and Mr Pettitt had previously traded as ASUK Accountants on the outskirts of Uttoxeter town centre.

The name change deliberately gave the firm a name associated with Uttoxeter and signalled an evolution from a traditional accountancy practice into a business development, training and coaching business.

Mr Wordley said: “We have held a series of launch events for the business growth club alongside Staffordshire Moorlands based business coach, John Capper.

“They have attracted a diverse range of business people including online traders, photographers and an advertising agency.

“Members will meet monthly for a series of masterclasses on topics including financial planning, business systems, time management, marketing, cash flow, profit margins and sales.

“I will lead the programme but we will be calling on a series of consultants to take part in the masterclasses.” Both the business partners are experienced business coaches and have worked both in accountancy practice and in industry.

Dove Accountants have carried out a major refurbishment programme of the formerly empty office space in Church Street.

“We have created a spacious, modern, training room which will house both the business growth club and one to one mentoring sessions with businesses,” added Mr Wordley.
