UTTOXETER'S business network group has reflected on a successful job after holding its final meeting of the year before breaking for Christmas.
The Uttoxeter Business Breakfast Club has had a very successful year with more than 142 visitors attending at various times during the year.
Host of the meetings, at Indulgence in Uttoxeter Market Place, David Hunter said the club has gone from strength to strength and members have helped each other find new business or overcome business issues.
He said: “This is not just about lead referral, although that does happen a lot, it’s about supporting each other and helping to grow business in Uttoxeter.” The breakfast club meet fortnightly and once a month an invited guest speaker attends to give a presentation on a variety of subjects, which benefit members.
Guest speakers have included prominent business leaders from around the area from companies such as Alton Towers, Trent and Dove Housing and JCB.
The first meeting of 2012 will be on Thursday, January 12.
“I am already looking forward to next year’s meetings,” said Sue Cliff from Proactive Assistants in Uttoxeter.
“I have invited business colleagues to come along as this is a very welcoming group and has a wide range of support available within its members”
