YOUNG thespians from Abbotsholme School have wowed audiences with their production of Little Shop of Horrors.
The Rocester school’s pupils performed to a full house over three nights.
Those not performing on stage took up roles in a production team and in the school orchestra formed to accompany the action.
The technical team worked from inside a giant puppet on the stage and ensured transitions between scenes were seemless.
An Abbotsholme School spokesman said: “All aspects of the production were intricately entwined and all worked together to ensure the success of the show. The cast were fully immersed in their roles; their characterisations were fully believable and their acting most engaging.
“They brought a huge energy to the stage that helped to create an astounding spectacle. The orchestra’s playing stood out as being accomplished and professional and generated a fantastic reception.
“The technical team worked in a professional manner and their creative skills and excellent sense of timing heightened everyone’s enjoyment.”
